Circa 2013, mum was talking about collecting recipes and so we came up with the idea of building a website and we threw some names around like “Nanas Cookbook”.

Ragrets*. There was lots of excitement and all good intentions were had, but sadly the project never made enough progress before mum passed.

Mum’s Recipes
All of mum’s handwritten recipes have been carefully added and transcribed to make finding and following them easier. What better way to pay tribute to her than to continue replicating her heart-filled cooking. Some of mum’s most favourite and cherished times is when we would all come back home to gather around her table to share one of her meals. May we always gather and remember.

Mum was a carer and a sharer – why else would she go to the trouble of writing it all down. But wait – she wouldn’t stop there. Mum would be more than happy to include recipes from everyone, as long as she saw joy in our eyes and swelling in our bellies – “the more the merrier”.
